The Opportunity
We’re looking for a full-time Safety & HR Coordinator to support our growing team. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where you’ll support Human Resources administration, recruiting to onboarding and company safety processes. You’ll report to our People & Culture Manager and work closely with leadership across the business.
This role is best suited for someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable managing their own schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Administration - Assist with daily, weekly and monthly tasks as assigned by Management. Various day-to-day administrative tasks in the office include, but are not limited to:
- Office Housekeeping and Document Control - cleanliness and organization of the office documents in Google Drive and elsewhere such as paper filing systems or other softwares.
- Updating key data tracking spreadsheets as assigned
- Collect, sort and distribute office mail as directed
- Assistance within LMN and Hubspot as assigned
- Attend and support social committee meetings, tasks and errands as required
- Complete HR support tasks as assigned
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned
Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding - Management and ownership of hiring new employees, preparing and executing onboarding and providing support in recruiting and hiring tactics.
- Screening resumes, completing phone interviews and scheduling in person interviews
- Preparing onboarding packages such as: enrolling in training, adding employee to softwares, and preparing/rolling out first day packages
- Completing onboarding with employees
- Assistance with encouraging smooth introductions to the company by providing direct support for new hires
- Plan and execute hiring events as required
- Casual staff management - hiring, scheduling and assisting Managers as needed
Human Resources - Assistance with general administration tasks such as preparing paperwork, submitting reports, gathering data and keeping up-to-date on the HRIS system.
- Management of BambooHR employee files
- Preparation of paperwork: Letters of Employment, Termination Letters, Scholarship Loan Agreements
- Offboarding tasks as assigned
- Scheduling training as required
Safety
- Safety Checks
- Internal Audits
- Upkeep of policies, ERP and training
- Scheduling and Conducting HSC Meetings
- Preparing staff for audits
- Monitoring incoming paperwork, ensuring tasks are completed per zone
- Implementing safety controls
- Investigations and reports
- Tailgate Topics Creation and Administration
Other Tasks
- Complete tasks/projects as assigned in Asana
- Social Media management
- Assist with planning company events
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years of administrative experience
- 2-3+ years of Human Resource Administration/Generalist experience
- 1-3 years of Safety Administration experience
- Experience in trades, field service, or construction environment is a plus
- Comfortable working in a field environment (not just behind a desk)
- Strong organizational, attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Confident with spreadsheets (formulas, data tracking)
- A drivers license, and the ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Please note that our current working location is on 32nd Ave NE. We are moving our headquarters, and the permanent working location after August 1 will be located in the SE of Calgary.
