Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AZ Cross Border Operator specializing in Blower Trailer and Walking Floor operations. This role involves managing freight transportation across borders with a focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance. Duties
- Operate blower trailers and walking floor trailers to load and unload freight efficiently across border crossings.
- Ensure proper securing and handling of freight to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to shipments, including manifests and delivery logs.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Assist with general vehicle maintenance or automotive repairs as needed to ensure optimal operation of equipment.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including customs documentation for cross-border shipments.
- Training on utilizing the blower trailer will be provided
Experience
- Prior commercial driving experience with a valid CDL license (preferably AZ endorsement).
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures, including securing loads and managing freight documentation.
- Familiarity with automotive repair or maintenance is a plus.
- Experience working with freight across border crossings
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations. Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
