Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to support our healthcare team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans, preparing patients, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing to patient recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment sessions
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Support patients during exercises and therapeutic activities under supervision
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the physiotherapist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment spaces and equipment
- Document patient interactions and treatment details accurately in medical records
- Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout therapy sessions
Requirements
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Please ensure that you can communicate fluently in English on a very advanced level prior to applying
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient well-being
- Certification or training related to physiotherapy assistance is a plus but not mandatory
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
