Woofs ‘n Wags is Hiring a Dog Trainer
Woofs ‘n Wags is looking for a motivated and skilled trainer to join our education team. Our program is led by a talented, long-standing group of professionals who are passionate about K9 learning and welfare.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be confident and independent in their work, with the ability to:
- Lead group classes with minimal supervision
- Develop and/or contribute to class curriculum
- Demonstrate strong leadership and professionalism
- Train using positive reinforcement methods only
Please note: any use of non–positive reinforcement methods within our facility will result in immediate termination of the working relationship.
Schedule
We are looking for a part time person 1 - 2 evening or weekend date. More hours are possible as available.
What We Offer
- Small, intimate class sizes
- Fully equipped training space (all supplies provided in-room)
- Administrative support: bookings, payments, and client communication are handled by our reception team
- Commission-based pay, with earning potential of from $30 -. $72/hour
Class Requirements
Applicants must be comfortable teaching:
- Puppy classes
- Basic obedience classes
We are also open to expanding our offerings—trainers are encouraged to propose and lead additional classes based on their expertise and interests.
