Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment to support our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have an interest in food service and a strong work ethic, ensuring smooth daily kitchen functions and assisting with meal preparation as needed.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling under the supervision of kitchen staff
- Support food service operations by restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas
- Help with cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist in setting up dining areas and clearing tables during service times as needed
- Support team members in maintaining an efficient workflow during busy hours
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with cooking, food preparation, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
- Basic understanding of the food industry practices related to cleanliness and safety
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
