The Team Lead, Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for leading and maintaining high-quality, cloud infrastructure service activities that ensure a consistent and efficient customer eperience in accessing CIHI’s products and services both internally and eternally. This role oversees day-to-day operations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives related to infrastructure operational deliverables and supporting tools, while fostering collaboration across teams and managing staff performance.
1. Supervise, coach and develop a high performing team; oversee all operational activities by assigning work, setting objectives, monitoring performance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
2. Lead and coordinate project and work plan activities, monitor progress, identify issues, and report to management following CIHI Project Management Office guidelines.
3. Plan and implement strategies to engage internal and eternal stakeholders, build consensus, and improve processes related to client enrollment, access to CIHI products, and data requirements.
4. Develop and implement best practices to ensure services are well documented, tested, and compliant with CIHI’s security, privacy, and confidentiality policies.
5. Facilitate collaboration between technology services and other CIHI teams to harmonize products, services, and business processes, ensuring coordinated delivery and matri management of cross-functional staff.
6. Oversee ongoing maintenance and long-term planning for tools and applications used by the team, managing the project lifecycle for annual updates.
7. Develop comprehensive knowledge of CIHI programs and services to drive best practice initiatives, continuous quality improvement, and client awareness.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Information, Business Information or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related eperience.
- Minimum 5 years eperience in administration of Microsoft Windows environments, Office 365, Cloud(AWS) and Network Administration.
- Minimum 1–3 years of supervisory eperience.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proven consensus-building and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
- Eperience with client services, application support, software vendor relationships, and/or project management eperience.
- Eperience with workflow processes (LEAN) is an asset.
- Primary locations: Toronto or Ottawa.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Must comply with all CIHI workplace policies, including privacy and confidentiality.
- Fluency in English is required, bilingualism in both official languages is an asset.
