Please note: This position is open only to applicants who currently reside in North Bay, ON. This is a seasonal role with required availability for weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts.

Position Summary:
We are currently hiring Seasonal Security Guards to support our summer event operations in Mattawa, ON. Successful candidates will initially be assigned to Mattawa event sites throughout the summer season.
As our North Bay summer project progresses, employees may also have the opportunity to transition to one of our North Bay summer sites once the project officially commences.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor crowds and identify risks like aggression, intoxication, or unsafe behaviour
- Respond quickly to incidents and support emergency protocols
- Monitor for suspicious activity and respond to incidents as required
- Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Stand and walk for long periods during events
- Work closely with team members to keep events running smoothly
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and emergency services when necessary
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and client-specific protocols
- Apply conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques when required
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Valid Smart Serve Certification
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Previous security experience is considered an asset
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License and Smart Serve Certification are assets

Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
