Job Summary
Dixon Masonry is a locally owned masonry contractor serving Calgary and the surrounding area. We specialize in residential and commercial masonry projects, including new construction, repairs, and restoration. As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Journeyman Bricklayer who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a small, close-knit team.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair brick, block, and stone masonry.
- Work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and job site safety.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a small team.
What we are looking for
- Red Seal Journeyman Bricklayer certification.
- Experience working with brick, block, and stone.
- Experience doing glass block windows is considered an asset.
- Physically able to lift and handle masonry materials.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Someone who has a reliable work truck or work van that can be used for company projects (vehicle allowance provided).
- Experience operating heavy-duty trucks is considered an asset, as we have a picker truck.
