Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a passion for driving sales and team development. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing daily store activities, overseeing staff, and implementing effective merchandising strategies to maximize profitability and enhance the customer shopping experience.
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Lead, motivate, and supervise sales associates and staff to meet sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage inventory levels through purchasing, merchandising, and pricing strategies
- Conduct recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new employees
- Monitor sales performance using POS systems and sales management tools; analyze data to identify growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and cash handling procedures
- Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee cashiering activities including phone etiquette and customer interactions
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize store profitability through strategic planning
Experience
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills; able to resolve customer and staff concerns independently.
