We're looking for a skilled and dedicated First Cook who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Lead kitchen operations and support the team throughout the shift
- Oversee food preparation, quality, consistency, and portion control
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Coordinate line operations and manage ticket flow during service
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures are followed
- Monitor inventory levels, product rotation (FIFO), and station readiness
- Train, guide, and support prep and line cooks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and front-of-house staff
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties
Requirements:
- Food Safe Level 1 Certification (required)
- Experience in a commercial kitchen (required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
