We are actively seeking experienced Garage Door Technicians to join our team at our Calgary branch.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on residential and commercial overhead sectional doors
- Install, service, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on residential and commercial overhead coiling doors
- Install, service, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on sliding steel fire doors
- Install operating devices for doors, dock levelers, and electric gates
- Setup access control devices for residential, commercial and industrial sites

Requirements:
- Must provide a clean driver's abstract
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated ability to understand and work with common power tools
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds and carry for a distance of up to 50 feet
- Able to read and write legibly and accurately
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to walk and carry items on uneven ground
- Able to climb and work from a ladder height of 24’ – 30’
- Able to operate and work from a hydraulic lift reaching heights of up to 40’
- Able to safely drive a pick-up truck during the day, at night, and in inclement weather conditions
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using hand tools, construction, and carpentry techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with power tools and mechanical systems
- Strong English communication skills
