Wild Mountain Wellness Collective – South Okanagan, BC (Hybrid / Contract)
Wild Mountain Wellness Collective (WMWC) is seeking a Registered Psychologist to provide specialized vocational and psychological assessments as part of an established community partnership supporting individuals in achieving employment and return-to-work goals.
This role is structured as a contract position focused on assessment services, with the potential to expand into additional clinical work within the practice for those interested.
Role Overview
The psychologist will complete comprehensive, employment-related assessments that support both clients and case managers in understanding:
- Cognitive and psychological functioning
- Strengths, needs, and capabilities
- Employment readiness and considerations
- Realistic vocational and community attachment goals
Assessments will include:
- Neuro-focused vocational assessments (where appropriate)
- Psychological vocational assessments
- Clinical interviews and standardized testing
- Clear, actionable report writing with practical recommendations
Assessment Context
Assessments are completed within a structured, provincially regulated framework with defined expectations regarding:
- Scope and quality of assessment
- Reporting standards
- Timelines and deliverables

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical interviews and standardized assessments
- Interpret cognitive, psychological, and vocational functioning
- Prepare professional reports with clear, employment-focused recommendations
- Collaborate with referral partners and WMCC team as appropriate
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
- Authorized to conduct psychological assessments in BC
- Strong experience in assessment and report writing (vocational, psychoeducational, or neuropsychological)
- Ability to work within structured external guidelines and timelines
- Neuropsychology experience is an asset
