Description:
As a Support Service Worker, you will be responsible to provide a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties. You will be responsible to clean both patient and other facility rooms, operate, clean and store housekeeping equipment, dispose of wastes, and perform a variety of other duties to maintain a clean facility. You will also be responsible for the preparation, assembly and service of safe, high quality meals and menu items.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Physically capable to walk and/or stand for the duration of your shift, and perform repetitive physical movements.

Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service experience. Food service experience. Experience in a hospital or long- term care environment. Experience with inventory management; receiving deliveries, managing expiry dates and minimizing waste while utilizing “First in- First Out” procedures. Experience with Industrial Food Service Equipment. Food Safe Certificate or equivalent. WHMIS training.
