Position Overview
Aroh Inc. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Interior Sign Assembler to join our growing production team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, craftsmanship, creative problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced production environment where quality and attention to detail matter. We are looking for someone who has both a strong technical mindset and a creative, crafty approach to their work — someone who takes pride in building visually polished, high-quality products with precision and care.
The successful candidate will assist with the fabrication, printing, assembly, finishing, and packaging of interior and exterior wayfinding signage systems while ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely.
This position requires professionalism, adaptability, accountability, and strong attention to detail in a collaborative production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review work orders, drawings, and production files to understand project requirements and specifications
- Organize and prepare materials, substrates, and components for production
- Assemble signage systems according to specifications while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and precision
- Operate wide-format printing equipment including: Roll-to-roll UV printers, Flatbed UV printers
- Monitor print quality, colour consistency, alignment, and material compatibility
- Prepare, load, and manage print media while ensuring proper registration and ink adhesion
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Apply printed graphics to substrates including mounting and lamination
- Package and label completed signage for shipping and installation
- Maintain accurate production records, print logs, and material tracking
- Ensure all tools, materials, and work areas remain organized and clean
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and equipment guidelines
- Work closely with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Identify and report production issues, material concerns, or equipment problems
- Take ownership of production quality, organization, and project outcomes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sign fabrication, manufacturing, print production, or assembly is preferred
- Experience operating wide-format printing equipment including roll-to-roll and flatbed UV printers
- Understanding of: UV printing processes, Colour matching, Material/media compatibility
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, production files, and assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative production team
- Physically capable of lifting materials up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
