Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Geophysicist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing geophysical data, conducting research, and supporting exploration and environmental projects. Duties
- Collect, process, and analyze geophysical data using electromagnetic, magnetic, and radiometric technologies
- Develop and implement data collection strategies for field surveys and R+D initiatives
- Conduct research to interpret geophysical data, support exploration activities, and develop new methods and technologies
- Utilize GIS and specialized geophysical software to visualize spatial data and create detailed maps and sections
- Apply programming languages such as Python and C++ for data processing, modeling, and analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design surveys and interpret results
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and scientific papers
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols
Experience and Skills
- Degree in geophysics, physics, or math; MSc or PhD preferred but not required
- Proven experience in data analysis, collection, and interpretation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle large datasets efficiently
- Proficiency with Geosoft and programming languages including C++ and Python
- Experience with geophysical survey techniques including magnetic or electromagnetic methods is a plus
- Good communicator in English
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities
Pay: $70,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
