Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in various commercial or residential spaces, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers consistent hours and the opportunity to contribute to a positive environment for clients and staff alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other necessary items
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of client spaces
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
