About Us
We are Cambridge Environmental Products Inc., a growing scientific distribution company operating where industry meets science. We supply laboratory equipment and precision instruments across North America and internationally.
We are a tight-knit, high-performing team of 7. We don’t do corporate bureaucracy or endless approval chains. We do high-speed execution, total accountability, and constant growth. We are looking for our next key team member; someone who takes pride in "getting stuff done" and wants to build a real career with us.
What You’ll Be Doing (The Engine Room)
1. Scale Programming
- Programming: You will be trained to program high-precision scales specifically for the ammunition reloading market and boxing them back up for safe shipment.
- Kitting: You'll ensure the customer gets exactly what the need for a precision set up. Bundle the customer's order and accurately record serial numbers, and build the skid for export.
- Tech QC: You are the final set of eyes on every piece of equipment before it’s boxed. If something goes wrong at our warehouse, you're on top of making sure a customer never sees that item.
2. Warehouse Assistance
- Picking & Packing: Partner directly with our Warehouse Lead to clear daily shipping backlogs and keep the engine running smoothly
- Accurate Record Keeping: Include Certificates, statements and important documents for equipment and instruments in customer orders and ensure the documents make it into the right hands.
- Pre-Packing: Stay ahead of the rush by prepping high-volume items (mortars & pestles, weigh boats, etc.) so they are ready to ship at a moment's notice.
- Inbound Logistics: Unload freight, count incoming inventory, inspect for discrepancies, and put away under the direction of our Warehouse Lead.
- Outbound Logistics: Our products are sensitive and heading mostly to the US. You’ll build kits and pack orders to ensure they survive international transit and arrive ready for the bench.
You’re the Perfect Fit If:
- You hold yourself to a high standard: You double-check your work because bad quality bugs you, not because a boss is watching over your shoulder.
- You are a self-starter: You notice when something needs to be done, picked up, or moved, and you just do it.
- You are comfortable with physical work & detail: You can lift up to 50 lbs, build a pallet, and then pivot straight to precise, multi-step equipment programming without losing focus.
- You hate micro-management: Good, because we don’t love doing it. We give you ownership, trust you to own your station, and let you run.
- We don’t care if you have 5 years of warehouse experience or zero. Everything technical is 100% trainable. What we cannot train is work ethic, integrity, and self-drive.
- Reliable Transportation: Our facility is in Komoka, so you’ll need a consistent way to get here.
