Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a solid understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. This role involves supervising staff, managing food service activities, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the shift to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during assigned shifts, including servers, cooks, and baristas.
- Ensure food preparation and cooking meet quality standards and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Oversee POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and billing.
- Manage team members by providing guidance, conducting interviews, and supporting team management initiatives.
- Monitor customer service levels, address guest concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and serving as needed to support smooth operations.
- Enforce restaurant policies, safety procedures, and food safety standards consistently.
- Collaborate with management on inventory control, ordering supplies, and scheduling staff shifts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, preferably with supervising or team management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms; cash handling expertise required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively.
- Background in food industry roles such as serving, kitchen work, or hotel/hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in supervising teams within restaurant or food service settings is preferred.

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
