We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quickbooks online or similar platforms, ensuring accurate data entry and transaction processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation to maintain precise financial records aligned with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
- Prepare detailed journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Oversee payroll processing and tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and accurate reporting.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, including receipts, invoices, and statements; support external audits as needed.
- Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and technical accounting tasks related to governmental or nonprofit accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quickbooks online or similar platforms; familiarity with multiple systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, non-profit accounting practices, and governmental accounting standards.
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks including bank reconciliation and account analysis accurately.
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable management and payroll processing.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for financial report writing and cross-departmental collaboration.
