Job Overview
The Project Manager works directly with clients and various departments within the company to ensure that project deliverables are completed within the budget and defined scope. He/she coordinate with all teams working on the project to ensure that goals are met on time and that each team’s deliverables are compatible with all others. The Project Manager plans and designates project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of the company's goals and vision
Primary Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Responsible for developing and implementing Project Management processes in compliance with PMBOK.
- Responsible for project stakeholder communication.
- Maintain Project documentation.
- Act in the company’s behalf in client project review meeting.
- Manage and Coordinate multiple project aspects (i.e procurements, subcontracts, logistics, etc)
- Develop and maintain project Risk plans, Issues log.
- Responsible for project closure process.
- Responsible for overall projects success
- Determine and define project scope and objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans.
- In Coordination with the Technical Manager, determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Utilize MS-Project for project schedule and resource planning and monitoring.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and provincial regulations.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Qualifications
Education, Training and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
- 5-8 years of project management and related experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Working Conditions
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
