We are currently looking to hire people with a FLEXIBLE availability for the following positions:
- Servers: can handle stress and pressure, be able to grab beverages for tables (varies from parties of 1 to 50), grab appetizers and desserts in a timely manner, fast-paced, able to adjust priorities to achieve an efficient service, very crucial to have the ability and skill to provide excellent customer service, enjoy talking to customers and building relationships, and can promote promotions to customers
- Hosts: can handle stress and pressure, be able to multitask (bus out sushi, speak to customers that walk in, do washroom checks, restock supplies in the restaurant, etc.), lead as a head host by organizing reservations and organizing the other hosts in your department to ensure a smooth and efficient service, be a positive face of the restaurant by providing customer service, and answering basic questions of the customers when they walk in
- Food Runners/Bussers: can handle stress and pressure, be able to bus out food in a timely manner, realize that busing out food is part of the customer service experience, be able to restock supplies in the restaurant in a timely manner
Knowledge of the Japanese cuisine is not mandatory, however, it is an asset!
Experience in a restaurant is also an asset, but if you don't have any experience that is fine! We love to teach new skills to those who are eager to learn and are willing to grow. Opportunities to move up in the company is available, as long as your performance is there!
