Summary
We are seeking a School Bus Driver who is either a Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team at Montessori Early Learning Child Care in Edmonton. In this role, you will ensure the safe transportation of children to and from our center, supporting our mission to provide a nurturing and educational environment. Your contribution will help us maintain our standards of safety and care for the children and families we serve.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses to transport children to and from the center.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Assist children during boarding and disembarking from the bus.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children.
- Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Support a positive and caring environment during transportation.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement. (Class 4 licence) required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with children.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Compassionate nature with a love for working with children.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to school transportation.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible attitude.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is preferred.
- Level 2 -3 required

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
