Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician with a min of 5 years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with experience in plumbing, brazing, soldering, boiler operation, and mechanical maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and safety across various commercial and residential settings. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing technical expertise in schematics, appliance repair, construction, and mechanical systems.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including central air units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment
- Perform plumbing and welding tasks related to HVAC system installation and repairs
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent system failures and improve efficiency
- Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, and electrical wiring
- Assist with boiler operation and maintenance as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to ensure proper assembly and functioning of HVAC units
- Conduct appliance repairs related to heating or cooling systems
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with building codes
Experience
- Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician or mechanic with a solid understanding of HVAC systems
- Knowledge of plumbing, brazing techniques, boiler operation, and appliance repair highly preferred
- Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation projects
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Mechanical knowledge gained through previous roles in maintenance or construction environments
- Experience working with diverse tools and equipment used in HVAC repair and installation
- Prior experience in troubleshooting complex mechanical systems is advantageous

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
