Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated UCP (Universal Care Provider) to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care and working with individuals with disabilities, including those experiencing dementia. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Support clients with activities of daily living to promote independence and well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any concerns or changes to supervisory staff
- Support dementia care by implementing specialized techniques to ensure safety and comfort
- Follow all safety procedures and health guidelines to prevent infections and accidents
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus
- Caregiving experience that demonstrates compassion, patience, and professionalism is essential
- Training or certification in caregiving, home health aide services, or related fields will be considered an asset
