Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with medical or dental offices is a plus, but not required. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized office while developing valuable administrative skills.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
- Handle correspondence, emails, and other communication channels with attention to detail
- Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic QuickBooks tasks as needed
- Support administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and maintaining office supplies
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to promote a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles; office experience preferred
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading and filing tasks
- Ability to handle customer service interactions professionally and courteously
- Prior experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training is beneficial
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
