We have an immediate opening for an entry level Maintenance Worker.
This is a permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours per week and group extended health benefits for you and your family will be provided after successful completion of the probation period. Regular work hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Candidates must have their own transportation to the worksite which is in Balzac.
The main responsibilities of this entry level position include, but are not limited to the following job duties:
- Assist with the daily maintenance and care of company building and equipment as per Foreman’s direction
- General repair and maintenance of equipment and machinery such as dismantling, cleaning, greasing, changing of filters, etc.
- Updating maintenance/repair records
- Assist with the installation of new equipment as required
- Ability to be on-call for a 24-hour period when required as per rotational schedule
Qualifications:
- No experience necessary; training will be provided.
- Candidate must be physically fit.
- Must be able to stay mentally alert while performing repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
- Possesses good hand / eye coordination.
- Possess a strong work ethic in a positive manner with a “get the job done” attitude.
- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in English to ensure workplace safety standards.
