Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, ensure equipment reliability, and implement preventative maintenance strategies to optimize operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead maintenance team members, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and low voltage controls
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures based on schematics, technical manuals, and industry best practices
- Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, repairs, or installations using project management principles
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Skills
- Proven management and supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial maintenance practices
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and inventory control
- Mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, HVAC systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills in English to effectively lead teams and coordinate with other departments
- Experience supervising maintenance projects involving electrical systems, HVAC units, mechanical equipment, and safety protocols
