Manufacturing Worker and/or Trailer Assembly
Baywood Enterprises specializes in the manufacture and distribution of outdoor recreational products including boat/snow/utility trailers, canoes, kayaks and pedal boats located in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. We sell to customers in Canada, the United States and internationally.
We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals for our trailer/canoe facility.
Monday to Thursday - 10 hour shift - 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - 3 day week-end
About the role?:
- Perform various tasks within the factory based on experience and ability
- Work with raw materials – steel, aluminum, plastic
- Work with punch press, brake press, iron worker, band saw
- Work with various hand tools including drills, saws, grinders
- Assemble trailers - frames, wiring, lights, axles, wheels
- Loading finished goods for shipping
What is required?
- Knowledge and experience with machinery and tools
- Follow instructions and execute tasks correctly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to perform a range of repetitive motions
- Handle and lift heavy weight up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Read and interpret blue prints
- Measure and mark materials for precise cuts
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Forklift experience would be an asset
