Guest Service Attendant
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Guest Service Attendant to join our team. Responsibilities As a Guest Service Attendant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional service.
- Operating the cash register and accurately handling cash, debit, and credit transactions.
- Selling lottery and liquor products in accordance with all applicable regulations.
- Assisting customers with Canada Post services.
- Serving ice cream during the seasonal months.
- Restocking shelves, coolers, and merchandise.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store by sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and completing other general housekeeping duties.
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing products as required.
- Assisting with other day-to-day store operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, a convenience store, or a gas station is considered an asset, but is not required. We are happy to train the right candidate.
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age due to the sale of liquor and other age-restricted products.
Schedule - Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
- Flexibility in availability is considered an asset.
- Shift lengths will vary based on business needs.
