Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Clothing Sales Consultant for a full-time, on-site role in Ottawa, ON. This position involves engaging with clients, offering expert styling advice, and ensuring an unparalleled customer experience. Our Sales Professionals maintain superior customer service standards, drive sales, and uphold E.R. Fisher's tradition of excellence.
- This role offers a competitive base salary plus a performance-based commission structure. The commission is earned on personal sales, allowing for uncapped earning potential. Additional incentives may be available through team performance bonuses or sales contests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming and personalized shopping experience.
- Assist customers in selecting fine menswear suited to their lifestyle and preferences.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product offerings, including tailoring options and seasonal arrivals.
- Ensure accurate preparation of garments for alteration and clear communication with our Tailor Shop.
- Assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and overall store presentation.
- Process and replenish merchandise, ensuring the sales floor is fully stocked.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and offer additional styling or care advice.
- Participate in inventory counts, staff meetings, and store events.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale system efficiently, handling transactions and wrapping merchandise with care.
- Stay informed on promotions and advertisements to communicate offers effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Passion for excellence in service and an appreciation for fine-quality menswear.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to assisting clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining store presentation and stock levels.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move merchandise.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an advantage, but not mandatory.
