Store Manager

What You’ll Do
As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall success of the store — from delivering an outstanding customer experience to leading, developing, and motivating your team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and inspiring a high-performing team in a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment
- Driving sales, profitability, and operational excellence
- Coaching, training, and developing employees and new hires on company standards and programs
- Recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top talent through recognition and performance management
- Managing daily store operations including merchandising, inventory control, cash handling, and shrink reduction
- Creating schedules that ensure strong coverage while supporting business needs
- Handling customer concerns professionally and resolving issues quickly and fairly
- Monitoring team performance and working with the District Manager to address opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and regulations related to age-restricted products
- Overseeing shipment processing, product returns, opening/closing procedures, and administrative tasks
- Responding to operational issues as needed, including occasional after-hours support
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of retail management experience
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proven ability to motivate teams and build a positive workplace culture
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Solid business and operational acumen
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- A hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of accountability
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to move, lift, and handle boxes of merchandise and liquor products throughout the store
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work for extended periods in cooler areas while stocking and organizing merchandise
Availability
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work overtime or be on-call when required
- Reliable transportation required
- Current RCMP background check required

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Retail management: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
