Hours are to a maximum of 200.00 total hours for the summer months. Minimum 20.00 hours per week.
Schedule to be determined between Supervisor of Transportation and appointee.
Purpose of Position
The Summer Bus Bay Assistant is employed for the purpose of bus cleaning, maintenance and related duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Are established by the Supervisor of Transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Class 2 Driver’s license.
- School Bus Operator’s Certificate.
- Defensive Driving training.
- WHMIS training/certification.
- Effective basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid, CPR.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.
- Fire safety training.
- Mechanical background.
- Ability to work independently.
