Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Technical Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, unloading incoming shipments, maintaining an organized warehouse environment, and assisting with light assembly work. This also includes occasional assembly work at customer locations in the GTA
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and possesses a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order contents against packing slips and work orders.
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform assembly of fixture components and related products according to specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products and outgoing orders.
- Assist with inventory counts and inventory control activities.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided as required).
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support loading and preparation of materials for installation projects.
- Perform in on-site fixture installations as needed and based on business requirements.
Skills
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, packing slips, and assembly instructions.
- Basic mechanical and some electrical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the workday.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials and products. No forklift in this position.
