We are interested in hiring Journeymen/women and experienced apprentices, with recent experience related to the applicant skill set or technical training level for ongoing work located throughout Alberta & British Columbia.
Responsibilities
- Construct, erect, install and strip wood and engineered formwork systems for columns, walls, suspended slabs, slab on grade and concrete stairs
- Install anchor bolts and embedded steel for concrete pours
- General labour duties and cleanup as required
- May work with or near cranes and moving equipment
Qualifications
- Must have a Journeyman Carpenter Certificate from a recognized provincial training authority or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice with a recognized provincial training authority
- RED SEAL certification is an asset
- Must have formwork experience
- Able to accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Practical knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
- REQUIRED SAFETY TICKETS: First Aid, CSTS2020 & WHMIS
- Optional, but considered an Asset to have: Ground Disturbance Valid Driver License
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol test
- Have a minimum of 2-5 years experience working with wood concrete formwork
- Concrete Placing & Finishing Experience is an asset.

- Hand and finger dexterity for reaching, handling, and feeling while working

- Sites located throughout Alberta (Edmonton & Grande Prairie Regions).
