Mountainview Orchards Inc. is a local, family owned and operated tender fruit and apple orchard, located in Lincoln, On. For 40 years we have been proud to bring premium quality produce to our community through many different avenues.
We are thankful that through the past number of years we have experienced significant growth and are now preparing to expand our team with an additional Seasonal Warehouse Associate. The season will commence around September 1st and conclude in May or June once packing season is complete.
This is a unique position; with an opportunity to help outside on the orchard as well as in the Warehouse.
Warehouse Responsibilities ·
- Unload delivery truck that either have raw good or materials
- Prepare orders for shipment/ Order picking
- Maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Help in the production area making sure the full cases of fruit get onto the appropriate
- Operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks,
Desired Skills, Knowledge, & Experience:
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Able to lift 45 lbs
- Attention to detail
- Highly organized with a systems mindset
- proactive with an attitude and ability to move with the fast pace of production
- Forklift License Preferable
Work Outside Responsibilities
- Pruning
- Raking
- Orchard Maintenance
- Jumping in wherever needed that day or week!
