Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced (2 year minimum), dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser/Floor Associate to join our retail team. This role involves maintaining attractive product displays, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for visual design, and experience in retail sales and store management. This position offers an opportunity to develop leadership abilities and gain valuable experience in merchandising and retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain visually appealing product displays in accordance with company standards
- Restock shelves and ensure inventory levels are accurate using POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Assist customers with inquiries, provide excellent customer service, and promote products effectively
- Monitor pricing, promotional signage, and schematics to ensure consistency across the store
- Support store management with administrative tasks such as inventory tracking and merchandising plans
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handle transactions accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience
Skills
- Supervising experience preferred, with strong leadership qualities and team management skills
- Proven retail sales experience with excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of merchandising strategies, schematics, and pricing
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to handle cash handling accurately and operate POS systems efficiently
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Administrative experience related to store operations or merchandising planning is a plus
Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
