We are currently looking for a cook to help us deliver on these promises. The Best Western Plus Bridgewater is a full service hotel located on the South Shore of Nova Scotia which operates an onsite restaurant, 27 South. We are currently looking to add an experienced line cook to our evening team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation and ingredient portioning as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Assist with catering events as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook in a busy kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
