Position Summary:
The Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing the complete customer order lifecycle, from order entry through delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and works closely with Sales, Planning, Production, Shipping, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, proactively communicate order status updates, resolve customer inquiries, and build strong customer relationships while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and manage customer orders in SAP, ensuring correct pricing, product selection, quantities, customer information, delivery requirements, and special instructions.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, shipment tracking, delivery issues, shortages, overages, returns, and quality concerns.
Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Shipping, Logistics, and Sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Process customer returns, credits, debit memos, and invoice adjustments accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain customer records, pricing information, delivery instructions, and other master data within SAP.
Education and Certifications:
Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is considered an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word.
