The Role:
The position of Fabricator/Welder works from patterns, blueprints, and engineered drawings, using a variety of tools and machines to fabricate metal parts, weld, and assemble components. This role supports custom manufacturing in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG, MIG, and flux core welding to specifications

Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings

Operate fabrication equipment (shears, ironworkers, drills, plasma, torches)

Use templates and gauges to ensure accuracy of parts and joins

Safely operate cranes, rigging, and lift trucks
-
Support production targets and continuous improvement with Supervisors/Leads

Complete required documentation and follow SOPs
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Assist with assembly, testing, shipping, and installation as needed
What You Bring:
-
Fabrication Red Seal is preferred
-
3+ years of fabrication/welding experience
-
Thorough knowledge of welding practices, fabrication techniques, and custom machinery or project work
-
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and shop instructions to meet specifications and tolerances.

Strong mechanical aptitude, installation knowledge, and basic layout skills.

Proficiency with fabrication hand tools and shop equipment.
-
Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
-
CWB certification is considered an asset
