Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Assist guests with reservations and waitlist management using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Handle guest inquiries politely via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and provide receipts to guests
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good phone etiquette for managing reservations and guest inquiries
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and food service procedures
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
