Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled grass cutter with drivers licence. Must have experience with rideons and stand behinds. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves hands-on tasks related to the care and enhancement of gardens and outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain beautiful and functional. The candidate will be responsible for driving to multiple locations to perform duties with company truck/trailer.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Dig, plant, and maintain gardens, ensuring proper care of plants and soil.
- Build and install landscape features including pathways, patios, and retaining walls.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Irrigate landscapes using appropriate techniques to ensure optimal plant health.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues or areas needing attention.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through routine cleaning and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like lawnmowers and trimmers is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is advantageous.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions is necessary.
- Must possess a willingness to learn new skills related to gardening and landscape management.
