Vivara is a RN -led postpartum care company providing in-home support to families across Calgary. We are looking for compassionate, professional, and confident LPNs to provide overnight care to mothers and newborns in the early postpartum period.

Position Overview
As an Overnight LPN, you will provide nurturing support to postpartum families during overnight shifts. Your role is to help create a restful environment while supporting newborn care, feeding goals, maternal recovery, and family well-being.
Shifts are typically 8–12 hours overnight and are scheduled based on client demand.
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight newborn care and support
- Assist with bottle feeding, paced feeding, and feeding support as directed
- Support infant soothing, diapering, and settling
- Monitor newborn well-being and identify concerns requiring escalation
- Support maternal recovery and comfort throughout the night
- Document care provided according to Vivara standards
- Maintain professional communication with the Vivara team
- Provide family-centered, trauma-informed care
- Follow all privacy, confidentiality, and infection prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN registration in Alberta and in good standing
- Registered business ( we can work through this together)
- Professional liability insurance
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Experience in postpartum, newborn, maternity, pediatrics, public health, or family care is considered an asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Calgary
