Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager - SMERF to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Major areas of responsibility include:
- Booking quality extended stay, transient, and group room nights from the SMERF market segment (including Sports, Entertainment, and Weddings).
- Booking quality meeting/special event functions from assigned market segment.
- Conducting sales calls.
- In-house sales including property tours and sales functions.
- Following up on all leads.
- Assisting in the development of the marketing plan and annual budget.
- Completing sales efforts outlined in the Marketing Plan to achieve and/or exceed revenue goals.
- On time completion of sales plan and repots, database maintenance.
- Fostering a friendly, comfortable atmosphere at the hotel where excellence is expected, valued and recognized.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing
- And any other duties assigned by GM and DOS
- Occasional weekend/Holiday availability is required.
- Hilton experience is an asset, but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
