About the Role
EastCann is currently seeking a full-time Packaging Technician to accurately and efficiently complete the packaging of cannabis. We are currently recruiting for both our day shift and our evening shift (see hours below).
Hours of work:
Day Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Evening Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for packaging product in a timely manner
- Ensure waste removal meets all state regulatory compliance
- Ensure packing meets all company compliance
- Facility sanitation and microbial prevention
What You Bring
- Must be 19+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Site Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform tasks that involve standing, bending, or walking for extended periods.
- Comfortable with exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust, odours, extreme temperatures, and water.
- Comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment while on the production floor.
