To continue our growth and success, the company requires the services of a Maintenance Technician to work out of our Dartmouth location.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and fleet
- Maintain fleet operations
- Ready trucks for MVI
- Fabricate and weld components as necessary to support maintenance projects.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Provide exceptional service by responding to internal requests for maintenance support in a timely manner.
- Maintaining maintenance log and other clerical tasks
Requirements
- Industrial maintenance experience and or certification (Heavy duty technician certification is an asset)
- Experience with construction equipment is an asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and fabrication considered an asset.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation accurately.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards of safety in the workplace.
- Punctual
- Self Starter
- Minimum class 5 driver's license
Experience of candidate will determine rate of pay
