CC Auto Repairs is seeking a full-time journeyman mechanic or competent 3rd or4th year apprentice. You must be a solid, reliable, honest and looking to grow in your career.
Pay and compensation:
· $25-45/hr depending on skill and experience.
· Hourly, commission and flat rate available.
· 10 hour/day 4 day work week
· BlueCross medical and dental.
· 2-4 weeks paid vacation depending on tenure.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Primary:
· Accurately Complete Services and Repairs on Customer’s Vehicles: Technicians are expected to be experts in their field and are expected to complete services and repairs with excellence, integrity and precision.
· Competently and accurately diagnose a variety of mechanical and/or electrical problems in order to fix the vehicle right the first time on time.
· Partner with Office Staff to inform of required repairs and services: Technicians are expected to inspect each vehicle and relay any needed repairs and services needed.
Secondary:
· Quality Control: Perform Quality Control for fellow technicians and apprentices
· Mentoring: As a tech with experience, you will looked to for advice and knowledge from the less experienced staff.
· Cleaning & Prep: Assist in keeping shop area clean, safe, free of debris and other hazards
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Must possess a valid Driver's License, be insurable on shop insurance policy.
· Must have at least 2 years of practical experience working as a technician in an automotive repair facility.
· Advanced knowledge of passenger automobile workings and systems.
· Advanced knowledge and skill in passenger automobiles diagnostics including using a diagnostic tools to discover the cause (and repairs needed) to correct a customers complaint.
· Advanced knowledge, ability and skill to perform mechanical repairs and services on passenger automobiles including removing and reinstalling of parts, performing service procedures.
· Knowledge and skill of how to perform a thorough inspection on a passenger automobile for the purpose of finding service and repairs needed based on the mileage and condition of the vehicle.
· Ability to clearly communicate in English with others verbally and in various written forms.
· Ability and knowledge of how to use a computer, tablet and diagnostic tools to diagnose vehicles, look up repair instructions, and access Customer Management Software.
· Ability to lift more than 50lbs without assistance
· Ability be able to stand for periods of up to 60 min at a time.
· Skilled and able to perform basic counting and math.
· Ability to perform major and fine motor skill movements using body to perform the necessary actions to complete a repair, service, vehicle inspection, or shop cleaning activity. This also includes the ability to reach overhead, push, pull, bend down, and other major body movements.
