Job Summary
City Wide Water Heater Service is seeking a licensed B Gas Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in installing and repairing gas and electric water heaters in both residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, ability to work alone and effectively in a fast-paced environment with very strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Installing and repairing gas and electric water heaters.
- Operating hand tools such as screw drivers, tin snips, cordless drill, etc.
- Willing to keep up with industry changes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle for safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Up to date with current gas codes.
- Experience in installing and repairing gas and electric water heaters considered and asset.
- Familiarity with soldering copper pipes and working and with various plastic piping and tubing is a plus.
- Some sheet metal experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret installation manuals.
- Basic math skills are essential for measurements and calculations.
- Clear communication with our office and our customers is a must.
