Job Duties:
- Installing underground piping systems including water, storm, and sanitary lines
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and grade stakes
- Setting pipe to line and grade using lasers and levels
- Backfilling, compaction, and site preparation
- Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborating with operators and crew members to maintain efficient workflow
- Operate small tools and equipment safely (training provided where needed)
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized worksite
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines
- Co-ordinate with foreman / project manager on days tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in civil pipe laying (minimum 1–3 years preferred)
- Knowledge of municipal standards and utility installation
- Ability to work safely in trenches and around heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of grades, elevations, and laser levels
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented

Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour
