Metal Dresser/ Grinder
Deluxe Metal Fabrication Inc is a manufacturer of precision sheet metal parts. We are in Chilliwack, BC, and currently looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team and work safely in an efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dress metal parts and remove surface imperfections
- Using pneumatic air tools for extended periods of time in a standing position to prepare various metal part
- Grinding and sanding to the desired finish class required by each customer
- Set up and operate dressing equipment and tools correctly, identify issues and fix or report them.
- Operate equipment safety according to their intended use.
- Handle incoming and outgoing parts safety and with care to avoid damage or injury.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
- Work on sheet metal parts and components.
- Practices good housekeeping and adheres to all company policies
- Help teammates to clean and organize the shop space
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a metal fabrication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Work Schedule
Shift is full-time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Morning shift.
Payment will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
