Team Lead - Contents Management
As a Team Lead, you will running and coordinating content management jobs from beginning to end (pack out/processing/pack back & reset). You will need to talk to customers and insurance adjusters and be able to problem solve if issues arise. You and your team will have to scope out the job at the beginning, determine what is needed to be done, identify and troubleshoot potential issues, complete contents scope, and fill out all required paperwork.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determine scope of jobs from beginning to end
- Explain the process and answer customer questions, as needed
- Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns
- Liaise with Adjusters, Project Managers, General Contractors, and others as required
- Communicate clear expectations to Technicians and supervise their activities
- Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
- Stay up to date and comply with Worksafe regulations, policies, protocols, and officers
- Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers
- Manage job file documentation (paperwork) to ensure complete and accurate project details
- Manage and control costs of production projects
- Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly
- Ensure an always Professional appearance for yourself and your team
- Travel will be required for the purposes of serving clients and completing some training

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Experience in any aspects of construction, demolition, or restoration are required
- 3 Years+ in Flood/Fire response and/or Contents Management
- Knowledge of Encircle usage for content tracking including generating reports
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with the ability to drive company vehicles safely
- Ability to navigate through smartphone/tablet and use the software that is critical to our business
- Ability to wear a full face respirator when it is needed
- Attention to details a must
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
- Able to perform manual labor with no restrictions, which may include but will not be limited to lifting, carrying, climbing, crawling, repetitive motion,
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled environments, occasionally in moderate heat,
- Must have own CSA approved steel-toed boots. All job specific equipment and safety gear is provided, including hard hat, safety glasses, respirator, etc.,
- Applicants must have strong comprehension of the English language,
- Organized, Dedicated and Disciplined, and Good work ethic,
- Completion of WHIMIS, CSTS, and First Aid as an asset.
Work hours are generally 8:00am-4:30pm, and assignments may require minimal overtime, weekend work, and travel to/work at remote locations.
